Mary Ellen Lykins & The CC Adams Band perform with passion and there’s no mistaking the voice. Mary

Ellen has power and grit inspired by the likes of Etta James, Koko Taylor, Janis Joplin, Lucinda Williams,

and Shemekia Copeland. Thwarting the conventional, the band thrives on unique arrangements with

roots in the Blues, R&B and tasty Rock. Excitement and energy prevail.

An album of all original songs written by CC Adams and Mary Ellen Lykins, “Let’s Play With Matches” was

released in 2019.

Mary Ellen Lykins and C.C. Adams have been collaborating on musical projects for 10 years. Everything

from a nuanced guitar/vocal Duo to the 5 piece group and studio work.

Members:

-Mary Ellen’s influences started with musical theater and classical music in Utah. She gives her all to

each and every song adding a passionate voice to the story or the mood.

-A lifelong Northwesterner, Craig ‘Coyote’ Adams performs Rock, R&B, Blues and more in a duo, or band

setting. His song "About Him” with the group The Menagerie in the 60’s was internationally distributed.

Craig played the Western US club circuit for years and opened for acts such as Lee Michaels at the

Paramount NW in the 70’s.

-Wedge Michaels is well known around Skagit County and beyond for his great percussion work and

tasty vocals.

-Mark Dodge, is multi-talented on bass, guitar, vocals and more. Always active in multiple music and

recording projects.

-Keith Stone is an amazing talent on Saxophone, also active in various projects.
