The best place to dance!
The Old Edison has been voted by Cascadia Weekly Magazine as the best place to dance for two years running! Musicians come from Portland, Seattle, British Columbia and all over Washington state to grace our stage. We’ve quickly become a popular venue for bands, with requests to play here from all over the Northwest. (The word from the talent is that there’s no vibe like The Old Edison dance vibe.)
We now have music every Saturday at 8:30pm and bring in a wide variety of genres. Sunday night music starts at 5:30pm and has such an enormous group of dancing participants, that you just cannot miss a day. John calls it “a place to dance for 21 to 91 year olds” and it is true!
The Bow Diddlers play every 3rd Sunday and have become a legend here. From Hank to Hendrix, they’ve got something for everyone. Bands at The Old Edison interact with the fans in a way you’ve never seen before.
